Creating TVT/TST projections

The Well View is capable of displaying missing sections (e.g. due to normal faulting or an unconformity) and overlapping sections (e.g. due to reverse faulting or inflection points) by being able to project your data in True Vertical Thickness (TVT) and True Stratigraphic Thickness (TST). This allows you to more accurately interpret your horizontal well data, well data affected by fault offsets or unconformities, or highly dipping strata. The TVT/TST button group in the (Prepare > Wells) sub-strip contains functionality for calculating and creating TVT/TST projections that can be applied to your data in the Well View. You can also calculate inflection points, based on the created TVT/TST projection.
